SECOND SESSION OF THE 38° CONGRESS
TRANSNATIONAL RADICAL PARTY
TIRANA, ALBANIA, FROM 31st OCTOBER - 3rd NOVEMBER 2002

LOGISTICS INFORMATION

The Congress will take place at the Congress Centre of Tirana. It is located at the centre of the city, 10 minutes walk from Scanderberg Square, Tirana's main square, close to all the main hotels. The local currency is the 'Lek' (1 Euro = 130 Lek approx). You may pay also in US dollars and very often in Euros. Cash machines are rare as well as payments by Credit cards. Interpretation is provided in: Italian, English, French, Albanian and Russian.

To enter Albania a passport is needed, as well as a visa, which can be obtained upon arrival at the airport for $10 or €12. The same amount must be paid upon departure. Negotiations for special treatment are ongoing and we will keep you informed.

The Committee of the Presidents of the Transnational Radical Party has decided to facilitated participation in the Congress for members arriving from countries other then Italy. Please contact: info.congresso@radicalparty.org or fill in this online form at the bottom of the page.

Special conditions are also provided for TRP members who have paid their fees for the year 2002, and who are not resident of Italy. The requested contribution for EU residents for travel expenses from Milan or Rome, meals and accommodation, is €200 (Rome or Milan should be reached at your own expenses). For TRP members who are not EU Residents the requested contribution to attend the Congress is the Country's membership fee. (The minimum contribution requested in any case is at least €50).


THE SPECIAL CONDITIONS ARE:

a) Charter flight from Rome or Milan, in the morning of 31st October and return on 3rd November;
b) transfer by mini-bus from the airport to the hotels and return;
c) accommodation in double room, depending on availability, in one of the hotels close to the Congress Centre. In case of late requests accommodation will be in triple rooms;
d) 6 meal-coupons to be collected at the Congress Centre, to be used at the self-service restaurant for the whole duration of the Congress.
